Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- perform monthly closing activities including preparation of journal entries and account analysis
- prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- complete analytical reviews of the financial statement accounts to ensure the accuracy and validity of transactions
- organize and prepare annual audit workpapers, in an accurate and timely manner
- preparation of tax forms as requested
- research accounting issues to ensure proper application of GAAP
- special Projects as assigned
- work effectively with the other business units at HBP to develop an understanding of the key financial metrics for the company and individual business units
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
- must have 3-5 years of accounting experience
- experience working with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, etc
- ability to be successful in a busy office while working on multiple projects
- experience with international accounting and tax reporting preferred, but not required
- able to work with different personalities and communicate with upper management, as necessary
