Responsibility
- manage and complete customer PPAP’s in a timely manner
- set quality requirements through ensuring all production is to the standard requirements both internally and external
- define & issue any relevant Quality Standards & process documentation whilst auditing the business for its compliance
- verification of parts visually and ability to carry out Form, Fit & Functional testing and dimensional checks
- own and communicate any quality concerns and alerts internally and externally
- organise rework / inspection activities on shift and communicate any ongoing issues to all staff
- manage any customer issues from initial containment of suspect stock through implementation of corrective actions to full closure. This will include report compilation using investigative techniques such as Ishikawa, 8D, 5 Whys, PDCA
- actively promote and drive any continuous improvement activity by being proactive in suggesting improvements in productivity and efficiency
