Responsibility

  • ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements by effectively managing the team's performance and providing guidance and support
  • collaborate with site management and owners to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or challenges
  • follow established processes and guidelines to maintain consistency, efficiency, and safety throughout the coating process
  • occasionally travel away from home to oversee and coordinate projects, including roofing and flooring
  • maintain a professional and well-presented image at all times, reflecting the values and standards of our company
  • lead and motivate a small team in the preparation and coating of surfaces using polyurea products, ranging from cold applied to hot spray techniques
  • utilise your physical abilities and dexterity to perform hands-on tasks when required
  • work under pressure to meet project deadlines without compromising on attention to detail or compromising the high levels of health and safety standards

Requirements

  • strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • excellent communication skills to interact with team members, site management, and owners
  • proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • willingness to follow established processes and maintain high levels of health and safety
  • A proven track record in surface preparation and coating is highly beneficial
  • any relevant certification related to working at heights, on construction sites, or dexterity-based tasks is advantageous
  • possession of a full UK driving license is essential for this role
  • punctuality, reliability, and a well-presented appearance are essential attributes
