Responsibility
- work closely with startup teams to understand their technical and business challenges, assist in problem-solving, and offer innovative solutions
- support new ventures, providing them with guidance, mentorship, and strategic support throughout their journey
- engage in hands-on activities in our lab, including equipment maintenance, organization, and inventory management
- this is a paid, permanent position based in our lab in Hackney Wick, salary DOE
- assist in the development and execution of lab safety protocols, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment

Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- completed a degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, materials science, engineering, or a related discipline
- industry experience OR a PhD in a relevant discipline. Startup experience is desirable but not essential
- strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative, while also being a valuable team player
- proficiency in laboratory techniques, with experience in handling electrochemical equipment being a plus
- ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, embracing challenges and driving innovation
- familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms would be advantageous
