Responsibility

  • provide emotional and practical support to service users
  • be aware of and adhere to relevant legislation and regulations
  • assist service users with daily living activities such as personal care
  • provide companionship to service ussers and assist them with activities and interests
  • liaise with other professionals such as social workers, health care professionals, and housing officers in the absence of the manager
  • maintain accurate records of service users contact and progress
  • support junior members of the staff team and take part in training, supervision and appraisals processes
