- research and analyse market trends, audience insights, and media channel performance to identify opportunities for effective media campaigns
- develop and execute media buying strategies to reach target audiences efficiently, considering budget constraints and campaign objectives

- ensuring all partners are managed and aware of their progress
- collaborate with creative teams to ensure ad creatives align with media placement strategies and resonate with the intended audience
- identify the target audience for a particular media campaign and decide how best to communicate to that audience
- you will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing partners, you will grow your customer base through different marketing promotions, including but not limited to email, print and social media
- monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and analyse data to optimize media buying strategies for maximum ROI
- manage and research a list of partners and potential partners to work with on future campaigns
- maintain relationships with media vendors and partners, negotiate rates, and stay updated on industry trends and new media opportunities
- keep up to date with industry research, including social media, programmatic ads, print and digital
- prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for improvements
- liaise and build relationships with clients, influencers, creators and media sales companies
- negotiate to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media
- work with the marketing team to ensure that campaigns are workable
- book individual advertising spots, e.g. posts, stories, podcast, sponsored blogs etc
- ensure that the adverts run accurately so that the desired media message is seen and heard by consumers
- manage budgets, including preparing costings and producing spending updates throughout the campaign
- collect and analyse sales and consumer data
- as a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising advertising campaigns across various media channels
- undertake research on industry developments in your area, new opportunities and competitors' activity
