Responsibility

  • skyhigh Children's Services is a 4 bed Children's Home in Wolverhampton
  • you will work alongside the Director of Services and Responsible Individual
  • manage the daily running of the children's home
  • be Ofsted registered or can obtain registration
  • you must have your own car and hold a full UK driving license
  • to produce a development plan for the service that ensures the delivery of high quality, clinically informed practice
  • to implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
  • ensure operational and procedural compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • our homes are brand new and decorated to the highest standard

  • you will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services
  • to develop your career within a supportive organisation
  • excellent organisational, interpersonal and multitasking skills
  • experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position

Contract type

  • this individual must proactively strive for ongoing improvement within the home, the staff team and themselves
  • we are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who has a proven track record of providing the highest quality care for the young people as well as providing their staff with a high level of leadership and management
  • the Registered Manager must have extensive knowledge and understanding of all current regulations related to Residential Childcare and can effectively apply these to the day-to-day running of the home
