Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced senior Generator Service/Project Engineer to join our growing close-knit team
- to cover all aspects of generator servicing including oil & filter changes and oil, fuel, and coolant sampling
- this role is based in Exeter with the expectation to travel where needed, nights away will also be required on occasions
- to conduct load bank testing on generator units
- to accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues
- to be able to work independently on engines from 10kVA to 1000KVA
- to complete all types of engine repairs
- as a Generator Engineer you will have an integral role within the business, assisting in the delivery of the businesses on-site activities

Requirements
- good level of general education
- working as part of a team on large scale events
- minimum of 5 years previous experience with a reputable Generator Hire organisation
- brand specific generator training courses
- valid CSCS/ECS card
- controls systems training courses
- ability to manage own workload and establish priorities
- experience with towing large trailers
