Responsibility
- develop and implement effective care plans for children and young people, in collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders
- ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, legislation, and policies
- conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and personal development of children and young people
- liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to coordinate holistic care and support services
- manage and lead a team of dedicated support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services
Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a children's home or similar residential setting
- proven track record of providing excellent leadership and management within a care environment
- strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in residential care
- excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
