Responsibility

  • you will be responsible for coordinating membership activities and organising events
  • as a Business Development Executive you will play a vital role in driving business growth by generating leads, engaging with international companies, and promoting the benefits of the professional clothing and textile trade body
  • this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be conducting Zoom calls with potential clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
  • lead Generation: Identify and research potential international companies that could benefit from joining the professional clothing trade body. Use various strategies and tools to generate leads and build a strong pipeline
  • sales and Client Communication: Conduct Zoom calls with prospective clients to understand their needs, present our membership offerings, and negotiate sales agreements
  • market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business growth and implement strategies to maximise sales opportunities
  • booking appointments for clients to speak with the Editor and CEO about important news stories

Requirements

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident and persuasive demeanour
  • proven experience in lead generation, sales, or business development, preferably in the textile or professional clothing industry
  • strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively
  • experience conducting Zoom calls or virtual meetings with international clients
  • detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
  • knowledge of professional clothing, workwear, and PPE industry trends and customer requirements is a plus
  • flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
