Responsibility
you will be responsible for coordinating membership activities and organising events
as a Business Development Executive you will play a vital role in driving business growth by generating leads, engaging with international companies, and promoting the benefits of the professional clothing and textile trade body
this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be conducting Zoom calls with potential clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
lead Generation: Identify and research potential international companies that could benefit from joining the professional clothing trade body. Use various strategies and tools to generate leads and build a strong pipeline
sales and Client Communication: Conduct Zoom calls with prospective clients to understand their needs, present our membership offerings, and negotiate sales agreements
market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business growth and implement strategies to maximise sales opportunities
booking appointments for clients to speak with the Editor and CEO about important news stories
Requirements
excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident and persuasive demeanour
proven experience in lead generation, sales, or business development, preferably in the textile or professional clothing industry
strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively
experience conducting Zoom calls or virtual meetings with international clients
detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
knowledge of professional clothing, workwear, and PPE industry trends and customer requirements is a plus
flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
