Requirements

  • ideally completed a recognised apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering·
  • must be educated to a minimum of NVQ / City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline
  • must have proven experience within a similar role

  • ability to read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
  • proficient in soldering, crimping, lacing and splicing
  • competent in the use of electronic test equipment and able to follow complex test specifications
  • proficient in fault finding and ability to diagnose in a methodical method involving others when necessary
