Responsibility

  • to establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the practice team
  • to perform a high-quality reception service, including undertaking telephone calls as appropriate
  • and prepare the clinic for treatment planned before the start of each session
  • continually interpret the needs of patients and the practitioners and deal with them promptly and efficiently
  • report equipment failures or breakages to the Practice Manager, and ensure basic maintenance is carried out within the clinic
  • you must be able to answer the phone effectively, be able to manage retail sales of the practice
  • inform the Practice Manager about patient comments and complaints
  • monitor and maintain stocks within the practice as necessary, informing the Practice Manager and liaising with the director over necessary orders and warning of any shortages of materials
