Responsibility
- private Pharma Ltd is looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in Cwmbran. Non NHS Pharmacy
- perform routine prescription checks, record prescription information into the electronic medical record, and prepare medication for patients
- maintain the electronic medical record and update the prescription log
- communicate with patients and their families regarding the availability of prescribed medications
- communicate with physicians regarding any changes in patient medication needs
- communicate with physicians regarding any changes in patient dosages or durations of medication
- maintain a clean pharmacy by ensuring that all medications are stored properly, are labeled properly, and are not being tampered with
- perform other pharmacy duties as assigned by the pharmacist manager
Education
- bachelor’s degree in pharmacotherapy or pharmacy from an accredited college-level institution is required
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a physician's office is preferred
