- to work in a person centred way, respecting and promoting peoples choices, dignity, privacy and independence
- to provide support with all daily activities to suit the wishes and aspirations of individuals
- maintaining and supporting with health care needs, including attending appointments and administrating, monitoring and recording medication
- teaching life skills such as managing finances, independent travel & shopping
- assisting with personal care
- assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
- to support and encourage individuals to maintain relationships and access community based activities. Trips out to the beach, local attractions and cafe's are a regular part of the role
