- all financial aspects of the business
- completing the daily reconciliation of bank accounts on our accounting system, Xero
- processing bill reconciliation against purchase orders and querying where required
- ensuring the purchase and sales ledgers are kept up to date, checking statements, and assisting with the supplier payment run
- organising the accounts email inboxes
- keeping documents and policies up to date
- reconciling annual leave
- assisting with year-end accounts
Requirements
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent
- A minimum of two years in a previous accounts role
- excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- effective telephone and email communication skills, including good spelling and grammar
- excellent organisational skills
- the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- previous Xero experience is desirable, although training can be provided
- accounting: 2 years
