Responsibility
- the role will include a mixture of office based, home working and working at customer premises
- providing general IT Support to end-users
- you will be courteous, helpful and have a can-do attitude
- respond to and manage support calls on the helpdesk, liaising with third party suppliers where required
- installing & upgrading computer hardware/software. Assisting in new site installations & maintenance
- in addition, you will be able to recommend solutions and best practices to the client
- managing Windows Server and Azure AD
- logging calls on the internal helpdesk system and escalating calls where necessary
Requirements
- excellent work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude. Speed of action, perseverance & attention to detail are key
- good general knowledge of technology
- good understanding of IT Networking
- good working knowledge of Windows Server, Desktop & Office 365 applications
- excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise your workload
- excellent verbal communications skills. Approachable, friendly and able to build rapport
- ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
- willing to work long hours and overtime when necessary
