Responsibility
- JOB PURPOSE To act as an Administrator for the AHVS service at Primary Integrated Community Services Ltd
- receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
- facilitate effective communication between patients, members of PICS, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies
- acute Home Visiting Service taking Visits over the telephone passing to the clinicians via a clinical system
- taking telephone calls from practices logging Visits for the service, registering patients then passing the visit over to the clinicians out on the patch
- offer general assistance to other PICS teams and project a positive, friendly and empathetic image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone at all times
- liaise with practices to provide a professional service
- computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information accurately
