  • proficiently installing, configuring, and upgrading software applications and operating systems
  • in the role of IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining our client's IT infrastructure and delivering unparalleled technical support
  • undertaking responsibilities related to system and network administration, including user account management, backups, and security updates
  • orchestrating the setup and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and associated hardware components
  • maintaining accurate documentation of all support activities, encompassing issue resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • demonstrated experience in roles akin to 1st/2nd line support engineering or similar technical support capacities
  • exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, reflecting a customer-centric mindset
  • familiarity with network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi
  • expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software concerns, inclusive of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • A sound understanding of Active Directory, encompassing user management and security principles
  • autonomy in working and the ability to prioritise tasks within a dynamic work environment
  • technical support: 1 year
  • while possessing relevant certifications is advantageous, a willingness to undertake training for the required certifications is essential
