PREVAIL is looking for employees for positions:
intelligence analyst
Responsibility
- utilise advanced analytical techniques and tools to assess the reliability, accuracy, and relevance of intelligence information
- develop and maintain databases, data models, and analytical frameworks to facilitate efficient data analysis and retrieval
- collaborate with intelligence and security professionals across the company to understand intelligence requirements and priorities
- prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders effectively
- monitor and assess emerging threats, developments, and geopolitical events to support intelligence assessments and forecasting
- stay updated on the latest intelligence analysis methodologies, tools, and technologies and apply them to enhance analytical capabilities
- analyse and evaluate intelligence data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that contribute to actionable intelligence.Familiarity with Esri ARC GIS and Python would be advantageous
- ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines related to intelligence analysis and data handling
Requirements
- proven experience working as an Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst in a relevant field
- in-depth knowledge of intelligence analysis methodologies, concepts, and techniques
- proficiency in data analysis, data mining, and statistical techniques.Python or R would be a significant advantage
- familiarity with intelligence analysis tools and software, particularly geospatial tools
- experience in collecting, organizing, and analysing intelligence data from diverse sources
- strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- detail-oriented and capable of working with large data sets and attention to accuracy and completeness
