Responsibility
- manage all aspects of the venue's operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
- coordinate with event organizers to ensure that all details are confirmed and executed according to plan
- supervise the setup and teardown of events, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and ready for use
- train and supervise staff members, overseeing their performance and providing feedback as needed
- maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees by enforcing security procedures and emergency protocols
- manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available for events
- assist with marketing and promotional efforts as needed
- serve as the primary point of contact for clients and attendees, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during events
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
- at least 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in an events or hospitality environment
- strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- knowledge of event planning and coordination, including logistics, catering, and audiovisual equipment
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Education
