- producing costs for projects using the software provided and in conjunction with suppliers
- preparation and presentation of quotes
- negotiation and value engineering during procurement
- full understanding of the problems that may be encountered with the project and work to eliminate this risk through effective preparation
- effective communication with cross-functional teams, keeping everyone updated with projects
- analysis of specifications and drawings and raising queries where data is not sufficiently supplied, or any doubt is present in the process
- most importantly - taking a turn in making a cuppa for the team
