Salary
- SALARY
Responsibility
- safe and efficient operation of the flour mill, including plant start-up and shutdown
- maximising throughput and extraction rates in line with production KPIs
- performing accurate flour and wheat quality checks to meet specifications
- routine mill maintenance to support food safety, quality and operational plans
- cleaning, checking, sampling, and accurate record-keeping of mill activity
- monitoring and managing wheat cleaning, conditioning and feed transfer
- supporting and liaising with the engineering team to maintain plant performance
- ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures at all times
Contract type
- we have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Microbiology Technician at our site in High Wycombe
- the role is initially for a 3 months contract to support delivery of a project for a large third party client
- the role involves handling samples from receipt at site and performing all stages of microbiological analysis following standardised protocols
- the role will include training in key microbiology laboratory techniques and procedures required for the project and as such an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and microbiological/laboratory skills for the future
- the role will require compliance of all tasks to our high quality standards aligned to ISO 17025 whilst ensuring H&S requirements are met
Requirements
- formal training in Analytical Chemistry with practical experience of working in a laboratory
- experience in Food Chemistry
- organised, motivated team player
- good communication skills
