Responsibility

  • you will understand the regulatory requirements pertaining to this role
  • as Cook at Marwood Residential Home, you will be working alongside the Care Team to provide for the individual dietary requirements of residents
  • you will ensure menus are developed in line with residents' preferences, special dietary requirements including allergens, modified and fortified diets and cultural or religious needs
  • as Cook, you will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating a dining atmosphere and mealtime experience that enhances residents' social interaction to promote optimal nutritional intake

Requirements

  • level 2 Qualification relevant to the role or willing to work towards
  • previous experience working in a similar environment and role
  • compassion and a forward-thinking attitude
  • exceptional communication skills
