  • responsible for the Operations technical leadership and coordination of activities relating to support, development, and improvement of operations

  • development of systems and processes to drive continual improvement in Operational T&I preparation and executions
  • the Refinery is currently recruiting for the senior role of Deputy Operations Manager in the Operations Department
  • headquartered in London, the Prax Group is a leading British, independent energy conglomerate dealing in crude oil, petroleum products and biofuels and is the only British refiner remaining in the UK energy market
  • supporting business teams in the coordination of the production aspects of turnaround preparation and execution
  • prax Lindsey Oil Refinery located in North Lincolnshire is a key asset for the Prax Group and is a world-class supplier of quality fuels

Requirements

  • minimum 10 to 15 years industry experience with managerial roles, preferentially with experience in other operational sites
  • engineering degree desired but not essential
  • good technical knowledge of refining processes
  • good understanding of process safety risks in an oil refinery
  • global understanding of economics and optimization of refining assets
  • capabilities to listen, work transversally, promote change, and take decisions
  • good leadership skills
  • good communication skills, both written and spoken and at all levels
