Responsibility
achieving expected sales and profit targets within store to ensure Company profitability
providing training to all new and existing colleagues and coaching where necessary
working Operational Managers to control resources in line with budgeted costs
handling of the Decorating Centre accounts within the agreed company guidelines and policy
ensuring that Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times
carrying out any required recruitment and selection procedures in liaison with the District Operations Manager
providing day to day management of the Sales Assistants which will include the organisation and planning of both working rotas and absence planners. The number of direct reports will vary dependent on size of store
maintaining a high level of security, and full compliance with Company policies within the store in regards to stock, financial transactions, security and premises
project engineer
Responsibility
responsible for the entire project life cycle from initiation, implementation and handover to Production and Maintenance
management of multi discipline projects will be required, including mechanical, civil and electrical
the Project Engineer will take full ownership of the project including management of multidiscipline teams involved in the project
participate in developing the URS for each project
responsible for developing project scope and plan from the URS document to enable design specifications to be produced for costing
responsible for sourcing suppliers, bid analysis and awarding contract in conjunction with the Procurement Team
responsible for ensuring all projects meet PPG and relevant regulatory standards
ensure all projects are implemented and managed in accordance with the PPG project procedure
Requirements
degree/HNC level qualification in engineering, preferable mechanical
experience of using AutoCAD is desired or willingness to learn
an experienced Engineering professional with significant experience of engineering in a manufacturing environment
experience of implementing projects on an Upper Tier COMAH site is desired
A knowledge of relevant engineering standards
credibility and able to influence at all levels
ability to present project plans to senior management team

identify and assist implementing risk reduction initiatives to prevent major accidents, explosions, fires and spills in manufacturing locations
identify process safety training needs and provide PSM training
individual Contributor; acts as a technical expert and provides functional direction and training

identify emerging issues within the region and communicate them to affected parties
EHS coordination for Resins Plants
liaise with the Resins Operation Director and the Regional EHS Managers
work with EHS and SBU Mgmt to identify processes, programs, or strategies to help locations comply with PSM regulations, PPG’s Global PSM requirements and Good Engineering Practices
Education
bachelor's or advanced degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science with relevant experience in an EHS discipline. Relevant certifications required
functional expert level of knowledge in a specialization of EHS. Continue professional growth and development by participating in professional societies and maintaining/obtaining professional certifications
utilizes detailed knowledge of key business metrics, key drivers, business vision, and manufacturing processes/challenges as applicable to drive and align EHS objectives
security engineer
Responsibility
develop and manage Functional Safety Policies on site for safety instrumented systems and ensure compliance with legislation
ensure all work qualifying equipment has a risk assessment / SRS and trip and alarm test method
manage CIPS master register for recording all activations and corrective actions. Ensure this is regularly reviewed
all non-conformances are managed in line with the CIPS procedure
determine training requirements for consultants, Inhouse engineering staff and external contractors
develop strategy for updating legacy SIS’s on site
provide assistance to the Project Team with regards to safety systems for new projects
collate and manage calibration equipment and failure data
Requirements
suitable qualification and experience in Functional Safety
experience of Process Control and Safety Instrumented Systems
experience of Rockwell Automation products
an experienced Engineering professional with significant experience of engineering in a manufacturing environment
experience of implementing projects, Functional Safety and control systems on an Upper Tier COMAH site is desired

loading, unloading and checking all incoming and outgoing deliveries against the delivery documentation to ensure accuracy
providing cover at other stores within the Zone as and when requested to meet business requirements
ensure all Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times in line with both statutory legislation and Company policy
providing a high level of customer service, identifying customer needs and assisting as required both face to face and over the telephone
