Responsibility

- the Quality Engineer will work within the current quality team reporting directly to the UK Quality Leader
- at Rotating Machines Rugby , we design and build some of the most technically advanced electrical rotating machinery in the world
- carry out product and process audits
- creation of project and manufacturing control plans
- GE’s Power Conversion business, part of GE Vernova, provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications
- ensure that control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained through the lifecycle of the project
Requirements
- relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification
- be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- knowledge of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques
- knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning , Part approval processes , Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
- lean Manufacturing knowledge, VSM, Gauge R&R
- understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- knowledge of NATO standards AQAP2105/ 2110 etc
