- A recognised project/PMO management qualification with demonstrable career development activities
- reliable decision maker, with the ability to make informed decisions based upon analysis, experience and judgement
- experience of working in fast paced, unstructured and ambiguous environments
- comfortable to work in unstructured, ambiguous environments
- experience of managing stakeholders in challenging and demanding environments from c-suite to shop floor
- well-developed inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence
- substantial experience of managing or working within a programme or project management office
- ability to prioritise and plan - balancing priorities and deadlines
Responsibility
- ownership of IT department audits, including the development of remediation plans and tracking of audit finding results to the satisfaction on internal management teams and external auditors
- the IT PMO Manager will have the authority and gravitas to ensure adherence to defined policies, processes, procedures and ways of working and has significant influence and impact on the control of IT projects the that are delivered across the business
- administer core project/programme document approvals and deliverable approvals
- ensure effective document control and management processes are in place
