Responsibility

  • an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Pound Wholesale in Blackburn
  • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
  • receive in and put away stock efficiently and accurately maximising location space
  • to pick and pack stock productively and accurately on pallets and for courier delivery
  • checking and ensuring picked stock is ready prior dispatch

Requirements

  • counterbalance Fork Lift Truck experience
  • previous warehouse picking/packing experience desirable
  • ability to work as part of a team but also independently
  • A proactive, flexible and "can do" positive attitude
  • demonstrate attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working
  • good communication skills
  • counterbalance Fork Lift and Reach Truck licenses would be an advantage
