- positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance Manager for our client based in Caerphilly
- financial accountability for fleet and vehicle maintenance profit and loss accounts
- vehicle Maintenance Workshop
- management of the Council’s fuel stocks and dispensing thereof
- manage and maintain the vehicle maintenance workshop so that the facility is as safe as possible and operates efficiently and effectively
- driver training
- management of the contract for vehicle hires
- other contract management

Requirements
- transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage. Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework
- working knowledge of fleet management and maintenance issues
- knowledge of relevant HR legislation and procedures
- understanding of relevant national and local policies and their application to the operational service areas
- proven track record in managing large teams of staff delivering fleet/transport services
- proven track record in managing contractors
- relevant Level 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualification Framework. For example: ILM Level 5 in Management
