Responsibility
- perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling dogs
- handle pets with care and ensure their safety, comfort and welfare throughout the grooming process
- communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area & equipment
- monitor pet health and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
Requirements
- strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
- dedication for continual learning within the industry, self motivation, reliability and attention to detail are key attributes
- experience in animal care and Level 2 grooming is essential, Level 3 or similar relevant salon experience is preferred but not essential
- experience in animal care and Level 2 grooming is essential, Level 3 or similar relevant salon experience is preferred
