Responsibility

  • PLIXXENT is Europe's largest independent Polyurethane System House and a leader in the delivery of innovative polyurethane-based technologies
  • polytech Liquid Polymers Ltd is part of the PLIXXENT group and is proud to supply our products globally
  • the role will be based at our site in Pott Shrigley, Macclesfield
  • regular inspection, repair and improvement of machinery and equipment
  • carry out site maintenance/improvements
  • planned Preventative Maintenance
  • support Engineering projects
  • new machine installation

Requirements

  • minimum of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • able to carry out basic MIG, TIG AND stick welding
  • fabrication work of guarding, pipe fitting, brackets, framing etc
  • repair & Service Graco & Aro Diaphragm pumps
  • experience in basic pneumatics, hydraulics, maintenance of valves, mixers, blenders, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, liquid filling lines/nozzles etc
  • site services checks on chillers, compressors, steam boiler etc
  • ability to work in a team or alone using your own initiative with safety for yourself and others at all times
