- ensure all relevant paperwork is completed in full
- provide feedback to improve quality and product build
- cutting relevant cables as part of a BOM or samples
- book-in and deliver material line side
- implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing philosophies
- support the inspection of metalwork and components via Goods-In
- support supplier returns of faulty products
- assist with the maintenance of cable stock levels within Stores
- ensure goods are transported in a safe manner using Counterbalance Forklift Trucks

Requirements
- good knowledge of soldering techniques
- able to complete assembly work to high-quality standards compliant with ISO9001
- experience working in a highly disciplined manufacturing environment

- able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- hands on experience in an engineering / manufacturing or similar environment
- an understanding of mechanical fault finding

- ideally, experience within a highly regulated or high compliance environment
- knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs
- familiar with using hand tools to make parts
- high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- experience of working with technical drawings and BOMs
- ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters
- proven experience in stores / logistics environment
- ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings
