- develop comprehensive test plans and test to verify performance and functionality
- lead and Manage Validation Testing
- produce clear and concise technical reports
- build and lead a small team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise
- develop and enhance test methodologies and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective validation processes
- develop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and schedules to ensure accurate and efficient validation testing
- reproduce hardware issues and assist in debugging technical problems
- keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices ensuring validation activities adhere to current requirements
Requirements
- degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
- proven experience with Environmental and Electrical testing processes
- extensive experience in design validation engineering within the automotive industry with particular focus on electrical, and EMC compliance testing
- solid understanding of Electronics and experience in testing electronic components or systems
- proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers
- proficient using a wide range of bench test equipment, including Power Supplies, Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes
- good knowledge of regulations related to climatic, vibration, electrical and EMC testing
