Working hours

Responsibility

  • we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Machine Operator / Rotational Moulder, who will ideally have experience operating machines and using hand tools within the rotational moulding industry, however, this is not critical as full training will be provided
  • the position requires the operative to work to a timed schedule in a busy manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on quality
  • accurately weigh out resin powder and prepare raw materials
  • regular daily housekeeping and continuously keep the workspace clean
  • participate in regular continuous improvement and waste management activities
  • inspect moulded products for defects and irregularities

Requirements

  • ideally, but not required at least 1-year experience in the plastic moulding industry, preferably rotational moulding
  • experience in using hand tools
  • ability to effectively communicate and work well in a team
  • ability to work in a physically fast paced constantly changing environment
  • ability to work in a warmer than normal conditions during summer months
  • forklift licence is an advantage but not essential as training could be given
