Responsibility
- ensure the safe storage and correct location of materials and other inventory items to minimise damage and waste
- monitor and report stock levels on a daily basis using a cyclical counting procedure to ensure consistency
- investigate, report and reconcile any significant discrepancies with products
- ensure that all items when counted are labelled correctly and identifiable
- communicate material information to relevant departments on material availability and usage and report any discrepancies
- discuss with the planning department, material requirements plan and any RM and WIP anomalies
- weekly/Yearly stock takes to be conducted and reported accordingly
- organise/Improve storage layout on site and off site
