- reporting to the Head of Civil & Structural Engineering, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing structural engineering services across our projects and customers
- the portfolio of clients and projects will be diverse and varied in demand so you will require an adaptable and flexible approach towards delivery
- you'll provide technical advice on projects across the wider Civil & Structural team as well as mentoring and coaching early careers Engineers
- in a multi-disciplinary environment, you will Provide structural engineering design of projects including steelwork and reinforced concrete structures along with support of civil engineering input as required
Requirements
- degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
- hold or be working towards iStructE or ICE chartership
- specific sector related experience including; Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy & Environmental and Gas
- thorough knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design of building structures
- in-depth understanding of structural systems, analysis and design both steelwork and reinforced concrete
- structural design experience gained across steelwork, masonry and concrete materials
- design experience of sub-structures and superstructures
- ability to lead design teams and coordinate effectively across multi-disciplined teams
