Responsibility

  • the AGM must assist in all operational aspects of the site, providing direct support to the General Manager and deputising in their absence
  • in this role you must deliver customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism whilst achieving profitability in line with budget
  • the AGM is a key role in representing the company’s best interest and must set high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times, leading by example
  • A positive attitude must be adopted towards teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the premises, and interacting productively with other departments
  • this senior role is also about passing on knowledge and you must be prepared to work with and train members of staff within your remit, providing support and guidance to all
  • manage office administration as instructed by the General Manager including in house health and safety, shift management and rota writing, email administration, and accurate reporting to line managers
  • accountability – In any leadership role you are responsible for the overall successful running of the area to which you control and accountable for the proper operation and development of the staff and product to which you sell
  • ensuring the proper management of stock, dealing with orders, stocktaking, understanding the importance of stock expiry and rotation as well as wastage

Requirements

  • flexible – This role requires flexibility in terms of working patterns and shifts, we are open 7 days a week and expect the AGM to embrace a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
