Responsibility

  • ✔ Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices and policies
  • ✔ Work with the Board in preparing an annual budget for Board approval
  • ✔ Prudently manage the Perth and Kinross Foodbank’s financial resources within the budget allocations
  • financial and ✔ Contribute to ongoing growth of Perth and Kinross Foodbank’s
  • resource financial resources by appropriate fundraising activities
  • fulfil the responsibilities and duties of this role in accordance with the Perth and Kinross Foodbank policies and procedures, principles, and values
  • ✔ Review policies and procedures regularly
  • ✔ Ensure that the Board is provided with timely, strategically focussed reports well in advance of each Board meeting

Requirements

  • ✔ Leadership skills, and experience in a complex environment
  • ✔ Previous experience in the charities ✔ NFP Board Experience sector or other relevant experience with similar organisations
  • ✔ Change management skills
  • ✔ Fundraising experience or sponsor management
  • ✔ Financial management skills
  • ✔ General management experience
  • ✔ Verbal and written communication skills
  • ✔ Management of a Not-For-Profit organisation
