  • 3 Servicing factory operations ie: Collecting Fabric, Consumables, Furniture, and assisting with departmental tasks
  • movement of furniture goods and fitting of newly Manufactured furniture covers whilst supporting the department with Production, ensuring a smooth operation to enable delivery dates to be met on-time

Responsibility

  • support the management team in recruiting external manufacturers/third party Upholsterers and Loose Cover Makers to work on a sub-contract basis

Responsibility

  • perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs

  • install or assemble furniture, shelving, and other fixtures according to specifications
  • handle basic HVAC maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and adjusting thermostats

  • maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and storage spaces
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
  • strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques
  • ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
