Responsibility
- answer telephones and deal with telephone queries or transfer to colleagues as necessary
- provide general support to the team where needed, including general clerical duties such as copying, mailing and filing
- receiving and processing orders, enquiries and queries from existing and potential international customers

- dealing with stock management, payment and shipping queries by working closely with the Warehouse, Accounts and Sales Departments
- assist the sales team in the preparation for customer meetings – including creating presentations, printing of documents and collation of samples
- preparing quotations and pro forma invoices for international customers and completing follow-up of these via telephone, email and fax
- maintaining close contact with shipping and carriage agents to expedite cost effective and timely delivery of goods
- assisting in market research, including weekly online reviews and seasonal presentations
- field all trade and consumer related enquires and action as required
- assisting in day-to-day sales communication to international customers, supplying information and arranging distribution of catalogues and samples
- helping the company to develop their customers market by selling products and increasing order values
- website support, including uploading content and images and ensuring this is kept up to date, as well collating payments
- ensuring all customers receive excellent service from initial enquiry through to order fulfillment

- booking orders and communication to sales team and customers regarding order and its status

- providing weekly statement to customers
- prepare sales forecasts for distributor sales each month
- £18k - £21k
- provide support for UK field sales team
- monitor and manage complaints across all platforms and respond as required – including resolving issues, monitoring and logging complaints and arranging replacements
- booking orders
- comply with the terms of the company handbook, employment contract and NDA
Requirements
- previous sales administration and/or tender coordinator experience is preferred
- previous experience of tender alert services and portals
- minimum 3 years' experience in sales administration / inside sales

- A positive flexible attitude
- an understanding of CRM Systems, ideally Salesforce, in conjunction with the pre sales/sales process. Familiarity with sales and how to structure and work with sales funnel
- good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office and some knowledge/experience of document management and organisation
- strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively and take instructions from multiple different sources
