Responsibility

  • we currently have an opportunity for an exceptional Deputy Manager to join our Pre-school in Collier Row North Romford
  • term time only - 38 weeks
  • 8am - 3pm
  • the applicant will need to be warm, welcoming and have a positive and motivational attitude to support their team
  • applicants will need to to have a Level 3 in Childcare and show knowledge of and work within the requirements of the Statutory Framework, have a good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection and be able to follow and implement the policies and procedures of the setting
  • to support the Manager with, and lead where necessary on, the induction, training and development of staff and be actively involved in the content and direction of staff meetings
  • to oversee the efficient upkeep of the setting and maintenance including equipment inventories, furnishings and fittings
  • to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Setting Manager in their absence and be the first point of contact for all queries, complaints, incidents and/or accidents at the setting when the manager is not on site

Education

  • A-Level or equivalent
