- maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational extruder / shredder / pelletiser running
- identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible
- inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management
- planned preventative maintenance
- assist Electrical Engineer in repairs to plant equipment e.g. extrusion machinery/ motors / facilities wiring
- checking of bearings / motors / drive belts
- identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible. Reading circuit diagrams
Requirements
- A general interest in how things are made/work
- A desire to learn and attend college to complete your apprenticeship
- good practical/hands on skills
- basic IT skills
- proactive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
- strong team ethic
- problem-solving skills
- good powers of observation
