Responsibility

  • ensure that the machinery and equipment are in good working order
  • make sure that machinery is installed properly in the factory
  • ensure that electrical connections are safely done
  • fault finding and repairs of equipment to minimise production down-time
  • work closely with equipment suppliers to order spare parts, replacements, etc
  • be familiar with standards and regulations regarding maintenance safety
