- situated inside the vibrant Broadway Market, our restaurant offers authentic Greek cuisine with a focus on Gyros and Souvlaki
- we are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef/Grill Cook to join our team at Pittagoras, a small Greek restaurant located in Tooting Broadway, London
- as a Grill Chef/Grill Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences to our guests at Pittagoras
- food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of Greek dishes, with a particular emphasis on grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables at Pittagoras
- quality Control: Maintain consistent food quality by adhering to established standards and procedures at Pittagoras. Conduct regular checks to ensure that all grilled items meet the desired taste, texture, and presentation requirements
Requirements
- previous experience as a Grill Chef/Grill Cook or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment
- solid knowledge of Greek cuisine, particularly grilled dishes, spices, and marinades
- familiarity with operating and managing grill equipment, including temperature control and cooking techniques
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
