Responsibility

  • preparation of ‘mise en place’ for upcoming events
  • traveling to the event venue and kitchen set-up at the venue as required
  • an active role in menu development and dish refinement
  • entering service completely prepared and organised to deliver a flawless and stress-free event
  • ensuring kitchen and fridge areas are kept clean and tidy
  • effective managment of your kitchen team, and clear communication with the Event Manager
  • accurate record keeping of food hygiene practises
  • pack down, return to the kitchen and unload

Requirements

  • the chef we’re looking for should have experience in cooking food from scratch , creative flair and able to work to precision of the highest standards
  • the successful chef must have a minimum of one years’ experience in cooking at a high level, knowledge within all sections in the kitchen and strong knife skills
  • chef: 1 year
  • food Hygiene Certification and Driving license required
