Responsibility
- preparation of ‘mise en place’ for upcoming events
- traveling to the event venue and kitchen set-up at the venue as required
- an active role in menu development and dish refinement
- entering service completely prepared and organised to deliver a flawless and stress-free event
- ensuring kitchen and fridge areas are kept clean and tidy
- effective managment of your kitchen team, and clear communication with the Event Manager
- accurate record keeping of food hygiene practises
- pack down, return to the kitchen and unload
Requirements
- the chef we’re looking for should have experience in cooking food from scratch , creative flair and able to work to precision of the highest standards
- the successful chef must have a minimum of one years’ experience in cooking at a high level, knowledge within all sections in the kitchen and strong knife skills
- chef: 1 year
- food Hygiene Certification and Driving license required
