Responsibility
- develop and present category plans with the major fmcg brand owners who operate in Travel Retai
- using existing data, identify and manage client specific category initiatives and projects to increase their sales and profitability
- perform range and assortment management tasks for key clients
- create insight-based store and category merchandising plans that drive growth
- lead and deliver merchandising reviews and point of purchase recommendations
- be able to measure and track category performance
Requirements
- previous Category Development Management and category analytical experience working within a retailer or an fmcg brand
- ability to manage team members
- expert user of sales, research and retail execution data
- results driven and self-motivated
- excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
- strong relationship builder
- A very numerate and analytical mind-set
- A dedicated team player willing to support and engage with colleagues as required
