Responsibility

  • measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and calculate the amount of materials needed
  • prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
  • mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles in place
  • cut, shape, and align tiles using tile cutters or saws
  • ensure tiles are properly spaced and aligned for a professional finish
  • apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout for a clean appearance
  • install tile trim and edge pieces as necessary
  • clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the tiling process

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
  • knowledge of different tile materials, patterns, and installation techniques
  • familiarity with tile cutting tools and equipment
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
  • strong attention to detail and precision in tile placement
  • excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • tile Setting: 1 year
