Responsibility
- must be AAT qualified, part ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
- we are looking for someone with experience in an all-round accounts role, preferably including practice experience
- working hours are 40 per week, Monday - Thursday 08.00am - 16.45pm and Friday 08.00am - 16.30pm
- reporting into the Financial Controller
- preparing the monthly management accounts, including departmental profit & loss and group balance sheet reports
- you will be part of the team in charge of ensuring month end close is accurate and timely
- we are looking for a proficient Assistant Accountant to join our team on a full time basis with a view to leading our successful accounts team and reporting directly to our Financial Controller
- month end/weekly processing, including payment runs, payroll preparation, PAYE, CIS & quarterly VAT returns
