Responsibility
- developing skills to produce 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings for production purposes
- becoming familiar with our design processes and current legislation, standards and codes of practice to aid in the design process
- liaising with third parties such as external contractors and suppliers where necessary
- understand health & safety and financial risks involved in the design, manufacture and installation processes
- you will be involved with all aspects of design, working alongside experienced designers taking customer enquiries from concepts through to production
- philford Design Engineers are looking for a Mechanical design engineer apprentice to complete a Level 6 product design & development engineer apprenticeship
- shadowing senior design engineers in order to interpret client requirements into practical terms that can be implemented by a team organising & prioritising project tasks into the required timeline
- reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, the Apprentice Mechanical Design Engineer will be a degree apprenticeship run through the AMRC Training Centre
