Responsibility
- ensure the appearance of clients’ grounds meet or exceed expectations and excellent client service are always achieved
- carrying out a varied range of gardening duties, under supervision and use of own initiative
- report unusual site conditions to the shift supervisor / manager / company director
- ensuring the safe operation of all tools, keeping in good and safe working order
- assisting with garden construction and other aspects of grounds/garden improvements
- A wide range of maintenance and improvement responsibilities such as, Soil cultivation, lawn maintenance, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, litter and debris clearing, hedge reductions, edging, pruning, seed sowing, bed preparation and planting
- care for assigned vehicle including cleaning and basic maintenance i.e. oil checks, screen wash, tyre pressure check
- use of natural methods for plant protection and pest control, only using chemicals/ pesticides where suitably qualified
