Responsibility
- respond promptly to emergency breakdowns
- ensure that preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time
- work on small projects where required, including design / installation & commissioning or minor systems

- efficiently conduct corrective and preventative maintenance activities originating from Work Orders generated by the Computer Maintenance Management System
- ensure all documentation of maintenance activities is to GxP standards both in paper-based records and the Computer Maintenance Management System and that accurate reports are generated
- proactively identify maintenance plan improvements or omissions, working with the Engineering Supervisor to ensure maintenance PM plans remain relevant, are technically correct and compliant
- ensure a sufficient stock of materials, equipment and parts are maintained to carry out requisite work. Identify low stocks so restocking can be undertaken

- ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and be proactive in addressing potential issues of hazard and risk and reporting such issues to management for prompt action
Requirements
- city and Guilds or equivalent recognised formal qualification in core and secondary engineering discipline
- post apprenticeship experiences as a multi skilled maintenance technician
- formal Business Service Engineering apprenticeship
